Outside School Hours Care

Located centrally in the College's Primary Campus, Before & After School Care and Vacation Care is available to all children in the local area.

To enrol your child/ren into Outside School Hours Care, please contact the Little Saints team who manage the service. Vacation programs and booking forms will be made available here closer to vacation dates.

Hours and Fees

Before School Care – 7.00-8.30am - $18

After School Care - 3.00-6.00pm - $30 including afternoon tea

Vacation Care & Pupil Free Days - 7.00am-6.00pm - $57 plus incursion & excursion costs

  • After School Care fees include afternoon tea 
  • Before School Care and Vacation Care – no meals included
  • Casual days will incur an additional $2 fee
  • Excursions and incursions will be offered in the Vacation Care Program, and additional costs will be applicable (please refer to program)
  • All students booked into Vacation Care on excursion days must attend the excursion (as no Educators will remain at the service)
  • All cancellations require 10 working days’ notice to avoid charge

  • After School Care: If your child is coming from a school other than SAAC, they will require payment for the bus by cash or GoCard. Please check with your school to see which bus company your child will be travelling with, and please contact the relevant bus company for information on bus fares and payment methods.

  • Please check with your school office re their process and pick up points in the school – every school is different (and the process can also be different for each age group)
  • If you make a booking, especially a late booking – it is your responsibility to advise your child’s teacher and/or the school office so that everyone is aware your child needs to go to the pick up point at the end of the day to catch the bus
  • Before School Care: when before school care finishes your child will be escorted by an OSHC Educator to either their SAAC classroom, or the bus pick up area at the front of SAAC

From January 2012 the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) will be responsible for Licensing & Accreditation for ALL child care services in Australia. In Queensland the Office of Early Childhood & Education & Care (OECEC) will support services through these processes! The National Quality Standards we are governed by are:

QA 1 Educational Program and Practice

1.1 An approved learning framework (as above) informs the development of a curriculum that enhances each child’s learning & development
