Careers and Pathways

We stand for preparation.

Our Program

Our dedicated Careers and Pathways program is designed to assist students in preparing themselves for their futures, whether that's planning for further study or movement into the workplace.

St Andrew's takes a rounded approach to providing career pathway advice and support to students, recognising that each student has different interests, strengths, capabilities, values, and life goals. Opportunities for senior study include General and Applied objects and VET options to ensure students their personalised pathway to tertiary education, vocational education and training, or work - with each student's individual pathway guided by our staff. Throughout their journey in the senior years, students receive one-on-one advice from our Careers and Pathways team and are exposed to multiple opportunities to gain insight and knowledge into future career options. Building student awareness of the importance of developing their confidence, communication skills, relationship, and teamwork skills for the workforce, is an important part of our approach.

St Andrew's Careers Website

The St Andrew’s Careers Website is a dedicated site to assist our students in identifying careers they may want to pursue, including a wealth of information about specific occupations, pathways during Years 11 and 12, further education and strategies to help narrow down the options.
