St Andrew's Anglican College is delighted to announce the outstanding achievements of our Year 12 students in the 2024 QCAA results. These exceptional outcomes are a testament to the dedication, resilience and pursuit of excellence of our students, the support of their families and the expertise of our staff.

This is the first time Year 12 graduates across Queensland have received their final subject results two days before the release of their ATAR results on Friday 13 December.

"These results reflect the hard work and determination of our students, who have consistently demonstrated a commitment to their academic and personal growth," College Principal Mr Chris Ivey said.

"We are immensely proud of what they have achieved and the high standards they continue to set for future cohorts."

The College recognises the efforts of all Year 12 students in striving to achieve their personal best with outstanding results across a range of subjects and pathways:

  • Three students achieved a perfect 100% in their subjects
  • Eight students achieved 100% in their External Assessments
  • We congratulate the 23 students who have received 5 or 6 ‘A’ grades
  • The majority of the cohort achieved strong academic results, with 67.4% of students attaining at least one A grade across their subjects.
  • Of all QCAA General subject results, 88% achieved either A or B grades.

"These achievements are not just about numbers; they represent individual stories of perseverance and ambition," Mr Ivey said.

"Each student has worked tirelessly to reach their goals, and we celebrate their successes as a community."

St Andrew's also celebrates the achievements of students who pursued Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways, achieving qualifications which will set them up for future success in their chosen fields.

  • 52% of the cohort graduated with VET qualifications.
  • Among these, 38% achieved Diploma-level qualifications , providing them with valuable skills and credentials to thrive in their future endeavours.

"We are confident that our graduates are well-equipped to navigate the next chapter of their lives with confidence, resilience and a commitment to lifelong learning," Mr Ivey concluded.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024 on their exceptional achievements. We look forward to seeing them excel as they embark on the next chapter of their lives, equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed.

Final ATAR results will be released to students at 9.00am on Friday 13 December, and later in the day to the College.
