Year 7 - 9 make their last week count

This year's Middle Years Projects were well underway from 23 November, right through to the last day of school on 29 November.

Years 7, 8 and 9 were busy volunteering at Arcare and Hope Op Shop, wrapping presents for those less fortunate donated as part of the Empty Christmas Tree Appeal, helping in the Sustainability Garden, cleaning up our beaches to create artworks raising awareness about the environment, volunteering with Marcus Beach Landcare bush regeneration, carrying out a ‘Backyard Blitz’ in Peregian, investigating and presenting Social Awareness campaigns and designing and building their own billy carts for a race that was moved indoors due to the weather.

It all came to a close on Wednesday with the Washed Ashore awards presentation, social awareness presentations, billy-cart race and Secondary end-of-year Chapel.

Great to see so many Middle Years students engaged and loving their last week - congratulations to all involved.
