A wonderful end to the College year

A wonderful end to the College year saw the emotional farewell to a fantastic group of young men and women who now are waiting for that OP score, waiting for tertiary offers, travelling, working and generally still enjoying a break from 13 years of schooling. I know that our 2018 graduates are well prepared for the world stage that awaits and they are planning to move confidently into their futures. I look forward to hearing of their travels, triumphs and successes in the coming years.

Congratulations to the Year 7, 8 and 9 students who completed their Projects in the last week of school. I know that the learning and enjoyment experienced outside of the ‘normal’ classroom by the students during this week allowed for the realisation that learning does not always need to have a grade to be beneficial. The Projects week really does promote a love of learning.

All the information regarding the start of the 2019 school year will be emailed in mid-January but of course if there are any questions or concerns that need answering before then please email or ring the College.

From all the team in Secondary I wish you all a blessed Christmas, a happy New Year and a well-deserved break with family and friends. I look forward to seeing many excited, happy faces in January.

Deputy Principal/Head of Secondary
