Primary School Sport - Term 2

Primary House Cross Country NEW DATE

The cancelled House Cross Country Championships will now be held on Thursday 27th April 9am- 11am

Training continues each Tuesday morning at 7.30am with Nick Croft. There will be a number of events coming up for our selected team. Best wishes everyone!

Great to see students having a go at a number of sports which is encouraged at a young age. Sailing was very popular for Year 3-6 children and some students who did sailing last term have been allocated a new sport to make way for students who have not had a Sailing opportunity this year. There will of course be the opportunity to sail again in Term 3 and Term 4. Any queries please pop in to the Sports office.

We have the Queensland CUP AFL Carnivals coming up in May for our Year 5 and 6 students and boys and girls interested in representing the College are encouraged to do AFL in their Sport time – please email the sports office if you would to do this for your sport

Primary Netball fixtures

Our U6 - U12 Saints Rugby teams begin their Sunshine Coast Club Rugby seasons on Saturday 22nd April – Best wishes to players, coaches and supporters on a great season.. St Andrew’s Tennis

We are delighted to hosting the St Andrew's Invitational Show jumping event which is coming up on Saturday 6th May. St Andrew’s Football

Our U6 – U12 Football club teams competing each Saturday in the Sunshine Coast Football competition resume their season on Saturday 22nd April and best wishes to players, coaches and supporters on a great season. Please email Mr Zac Jones if you have any questions

St Andrew’s Basketball

Our Semester 1 Competition that takes place at the Sunshine Coast University resumes in Week 1. U12 teams are back on court on Tuesday 18th April. Best wishes to players, coaches and supporters on a great season. All the draw information is available here

What’s coming up later in the Term.

We will be getting ready for Term 3 Sport and Year 5/6 students are able to play Touch Football, Basketball and Water Polo for the College. Keep a look out for information mid term about how to register and get involved. 
We also have our Athletics Carnivals coming up at the end of this term.
