The Sunshine Coast Music Education Conference seeks to contribute to a growing community of classroom music teachers and provide an opportunity to inform the provision of high quality classroom music education in schools.
In 2015 we welcomed the incredible Richard Gill OAM to the College as our inaugural keynote speaker and clinician. Richard was joined by presenters Maree Henessey (Somerville House and C2C Writing Team – Arts) and Russell Bauer (Sheldon College). The presenters worked to the conference theme of ‘Engaged Teachers, Engaged Students’, they challenged and inspired our thinking through active workshops and discussions.
